Tattered Lace Challenge – Romance and Roses

Hiya crafty friends,

Wow! The time has gone by so fast, and here we are at our second Tattered Lace Challenge. But before we get to that there is the little matter of the blog candy winner, who will win a set of Tattered Lace Lavish Blooms dies generously given by the lovely people at Tattered Lace.

So I am very pleased to announce that the winner is

Congratulations Anne!. Have fun with your new dies.

Now onto this months challenge, which is all about ‘Romance and Roses‘ and I have made a flower heart wreath.

To make the roses I used the Lavish Blooms Poppy die using a combination of card and crepe paper

I made the little white frilled flowers by rolling the fringe from the Mini Blooms die set
And the leaves were made using the utterly fabulous Lavish Bloom Leaves dies. Again I used card and crepe paper. There is so many variations of leaves in this one set, and if like me you like to make paper flowers this is a must have!
The ‘ribbon, was made using the Beloved Boarders die
I added a little detail by adding some of the leave cut from the Rambling Rose die that was free with issue 5 of the Tattered Lace magazine.
Can’t wait to see all your guys project over on the challenge blog!
