Hiya crafty friends,
Well, my Facebook crafty friends decided on today’s tutorial. There was a choice between a Sunset or Winter landscape and by the narrowest margin (just one vote!) Sunset won. I enjoyed chatting to you all whilst voting, so would you like me to do this again in the future.
So, here we go…
I cut a piece of Inkylicious stamping card 7×7″, as I am planning to put it on a 8×8 card, and then used a large A5 sticky-note and placed it where I would like the horizon to be.
I placed some Scattered Straw Distress Ink onto my blending mat and brushed filling the area above the sticky note.
To add the land I placed an Inkylicious Mountain-Valley Stencil where I wanted the land to be and sponged some Memento Tuxcedo Black ink.
I stamped an Unmounted Stamp Company – Winter Tree on the land, using Tuxcedo Black ink again.Remove all the masks…
The ‘sun’ mask was place symmetrically to the other to form its reflection. Fossilised Amber and Fired Brick Distress Ink was used again but this time I applied slightly lighter as it this would be the reflection Place the Mountain-Valley Stencil symmetrically underneath the the land and sponge some Memento London Fog ink
Remove all the masks……and then stamp the trees reflection with Memento London Fog inkI then took the Inkylicious Meadowlands stamp and placed it on my stamp press…
…and stamped along the bottom of the image. Such a simple stamp collection, the Inkylicious Take Flight 2 set, but I find it really finishes an image off.
